Michaela Scheiffert joined Sanofi in 1997 successfully holding several positions in Sanofi, such as Marketing Director of the Cardiovascular Business Unit in Germany. After 10 years operating and leading teams in the in the cardiovascular business unit, Michaela moved in 2009 to the newly founded CHC department within Sanofi where she was leading the CHC Business in Germany since 2016.
In January 2017 Michaela was appointed as General Manager Consumer Health Care for Greece and Cyprus where she was responsible for the integration and the building up of the CHC business within Sanofi after the SWAP of businesses with Boehringer Ingelheim. Within the last three years Michaela was successfully leading the newly created business unit within Sanofi and was additionally appointed from October 2019 to July 2020 as Country Lead of Sanofi for Greece and Cyprus.
Starting from 1st of August 2020 Michaela was promoted as General Manager General Medicine for Greece and Cyprus double heading the role as transformation lead General Medicine for MCO South Europe incorporating 14 countries in scope. She is member of the Board of Directors of Sanofi Greece and Cyprus.
Michaela Scheiffert is graduated in economics with a diploma from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Combing experience from pharma business with consumer healthcare Michaela has over 20 years of diverse experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical company. Within the first 10 years of her career Michaela acquired a deep knowledge of the German Healthcare System related to innovation therapies and protocols. Michaela was leading and inspiring diverse teams and working on regional and global cross-functional and cross-country teams.
