Ioannis Kokkotos

Ioannis Kokkotos is Country Lead in Greece and the Immunology Head for Greece, Romania and Bulgaria at UCB, bringing more than 20 years of experience across multinational pharmaceutical organizations with leadership roles at local, regional, and international levels spanning commercial strategy, medical affairs, and organizational leadership. He has held senior positions across European markets, developing deep expertise in immunology, strategic brand development, market execution, and cross-functional leadership, while building a holistic understanding of healthcare ecosystems and stakeholder needs through the combination of strong scientific knowledge and commercial acumen. Prior to his current role, he held key European leadership positions, including Marketing Lead Immunology Europe and Head of Solutions & Launch Strategy Lead for South & East Europe, where he was responsible for shaping patient value brand strategies, coordinating launch excellence, and ensuring integration between regional and local market priorities. Earlier in his career, he held commercial and medical roles at UCB and Pfizer, as well as strategic consulting experience in London. He is passionate about advancing patient-centered innovation and developing healthcare solutions that combine scientific excellence with meaningful patient impact. Ioannis holds an MBA in Finance from University of Leicester and a BSc in Chemistry from University of Patras.
