Savas Charalampidis

PIF Board Secretary, General Manager at Gilead Sciences Hellas

Savas Charalampidis is the General Manager of the Greek branch of Gilead Sciences, a leading biotechnology company – based in the USA – that researches and develops innovative treatments in areas where there are significant therapeutic gaps. He leads a team of talented people dedicated to ensuring patients have seamless access to Gilead’s innovative treatments.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in sales and marketing positions at both GSH and Abbott Labs, in various markets around the world.

He studied Biology at the University of Athens and holds postgraduate diplomas in Business Administration from the Hellenic Society of Business Administration (EEDE) as well as in Psychology Management from the University of Athens.

As a founding member of PIF, member of the Board of Directors. and current Secretary General is committed to putting research and innovation at the center of a sustainable pharmaceutical policy in Greece, responding to the perennial demand of patients for stable access to modern treatments.
